The Clays-for-Kids Foundation (CFK) is a non-profit organization created to provide support for selected local children charities. It was created by a group of construction executives that would gather regularly to enjoy the shooting sports together. In 1998, they decided to change the event to raise funds to support worthy local organizations directly helping children. Since that time, the Foundation has donated over $350,000 to support children around the State of Michigan. The Foundation’s charter is to fund specific initiatives for non-profit organizations providing programming to local children in need. CFK has no paid staff, consultants or overhead to the foundation, all work is done strictly by volunteers with 100% of funds raised going to the chosen children’s organization.

Autism Support of West Shore: The Autism Support of West Shore (ASWS) is a non-profit organization advocating and supporting meaningful participation in all aspects of life for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families throughout the West Michigan area. ASWS provides the Hope newsletter, a quarterly newsletter featuring family interviews, summaries of relevant ASWS events and calendar of activities locally and around the state, monthly informal social groups for parents, families, and those who care about individuals with autism to meet, drink coffee, eat, and talk, regular meetings featuring guest speakers and workshops. Family activities for parents, siblings, and children with ASD are also planned throughout the year. Scholarships are available to qualified families to assist with education, equipment, and treatment. The Autism Support of West Shore also provides resource information and networking.
